Ammonia Removal

In various processes of food production, in stables in animal husbandry or even in the fermentation of e.g. chicken dry manure in biogas plants high concentrations of ammonia can occur.

Our phosphoric acid activated carbon AFA 4-ammonia S was specially impregnated with a reaction partner for this associated gases in order to purify the exhaust air/gas.

Based on mineral coal and activated with water steam, the phosphoric acid present in the pores removes alkaline gas constituents such as ammonia and thus ensures the high standards of emission limits.

Depending on customer requirements, different volumes can be collocated in big bags as well as in handy bags of 25 kg.
